091 - November Reflection
A look back on November’s conversations, highlighting my biggest takeaways from each.
085 - Ryan Huff – Addiction, Recovery and Self Love
The difference between a normal person and an alcoholic or an addict is that normal people change their behaviors to meet their goals and alcoholics or addicts change their goals to meet their behavior.
Being grateful for our past, in recovery
087 - Drew Hill – Strengthening the Youth
Perseverance – “Almost to the top” – taking a break along the route to the top of Mount Everest and dying - it’s dangerous.
088 - LeLani Lei – Life is All About the People You Meet
Being our authentic self and realizing that people love us for THAT.
Life is about the relationships we make – it’s not about the money, or cars, or things.
089 - Stephen Santellana - Serving Others Through Leadership
Powerful story of having a mental health breakdown just after his first child was born. Recognizing & managing stress. Be well spoken. Feeding our brain.
090 - Mike Battaglino – Stay the Course & Trust the Process
Consistency – 10 years of recording his workouts, and still shows up as a student, humble and hungry. Man’s Search For Meaning. Reminded me that best way to learn is to teach (coaching, mentoring, etc.)
Coming in December
