I was actually the very first full time creative hired at Hoegger Comm. I was extremely fortunate to have been on the forefront of this agency's growth into the National contender it is today. From team leadership to project management to client acquisition and brand development, to proposals, budgeting, lectures, marketing plans, script writing, voice over work, acting, social media, graphic design, photography, video production, radio production, networking and so much more. During this time period was when I got serious about making a living as a multimedia artist. I doubled down on education, dove deeper into developing a compelling portfolio and actively sought out clients. Lots of t-shirt designs, posters, logos, web designs, print pieces and logos. I also continued with my curiosity with telling stories with video, blogging and social media.
2000 - 2010
Frontman / manager / multimedia artist for the rock band DOWN-STARES.
My 20's were all about rock and roll. We regularly toured, playing in total over 350 shows. It was music that melted faces but also had people at times in tears from the raw emotion. Passionate heartfelt music. I was fortunate to share the stage many of my heros in the music world. During that time, in addition to writing lyrics and hyping crowds, I was cutting my teeth as a multimedia artist, creating flyers, t-shirts, posters, documentaries and music videos.
Rocking faces. I was very fortunate to travel, perform, write and manage a band that positively influenced the life of many.
